February 16, 2018To all PARM 28th Annual Convention Delegates,On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we thank all of you as early as now, for the unprecedented response to our upcoming convention. We are now almost 600 registered participants, and we will be closing the registration soon. We will not accept on-site registration to ensure that the maximum allowable participants can be controlled. This is to provide you with a conducive environment for learning from one of the best faculty of speakers both locally and internationally.Some friendly reminders.1) For those who are coming in early, you may register at the Basilan Function Room of EDSA Shangri-La Hotel starting February 24, from 1pm until 8pm.2) Upon registration, you will receive your IDs with control number, meal stubs, convention kit claim stub, and certificate of attendance. You will need to provide a valid ID (government issued, or company ID) to claim these. No proxies will be allowed.3) To expedite the registration process, attendance will be done during the sessions, both AM and PM. Please bring you PRC ID since you will need to input your PRC ID number and expiration date. The Secretariat will be handing out the official attendance sheet from the start of the plenary or parallel sessions. Please write legibly. This will be submitted to the Professional Regulation Commission as part of our completion report. If you fail to sign the attendance during the sessions, the form will be made available at the entrance of each of the Isla Ballrooms.4) We will strictly implement a NO ID, NO ENTRY policy. If in case you lose, or left your IDs, you must avail of a replacement at Php500 per ID, per request.
5) Please be on time. You may choose the sessions you want to attend from February 25 until the morning plenary sessions of February 27. However, you may only attend one workshop in the afternoon of February 27. You have to be pre-registered in your choice of workshop. Limited slots per session.
6) There will be an on-line pre and post test, as well as feedback/evaluation form for each of the sessions. These may be found at www.parm.com.ph. The moderators will be giving out the password, unique for each track. This is also part of the completion report for the PRC to be able to receive the full CPD units. Should you need assistance, please approach the PARM Secretariat.7) Everyone is encouraged to be in smart casual attire for the duration of the convention, sports attire for the workshop, and business/suit during the Fellowship Night.8) All registered participants are invited to the Fellowship Night on February 27, 7pm onwards at the Grand Isla Ballroom. Raffle prizes are at stake, you need to be physically present to claim your prize. The Side A Band will help us unwind after three days of cerebral smorgasbord.9) All attendees are expected to be in their best behavior at all times. Please follow the security measures set by the Organizing Committee, and the hotel.10) There are 37 booths to visit. We hope you can drop by in all of them. There is plenty of time during the course of the convention. We may impose crowd control measures for your safety.11) There will be security in all entrances but please take care of your personal belongings. The Organizing Committee, and the hotel will not be responsible for any loss.12) In any untoward incident, stay calm and follow the lead of security personnel of the hotel. Familiarize yourselves with the emergency exits around you.Your Organizing Committee painstakingly prepared to give you a current, relevant, and fun-filled convention, learning from the best of the best in the world. This is a very opportune time to bond, network, and create fruitful partnerships with the Rehabilitation Medicine Team from all over the country and beyond.
